What we collect

• Nothing personal from just browsing. Looking up words, playing audio, and downloading audio don't require an account and don't collect your identity.
• Standard log data. Our server may record the usual technical bits — IP address, browser type, referring page, timestamp — for basic security and troubleshooting. We do not tie this to a named user.
• Newsletter opt-in (optional). If you subscribe to the “word of the day” email, we store your email address to send it, and a link to unsubscribe every issue.

AdSense and third-party cookies

• If we enable Google AdSense, Google's and its partners' use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables them to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites. Google's cookies and “Learn more about how Google uses data” apply.
• You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings.
• Any ad content or ad-related links displayed on this site are served by a third-party ad network and are subject to that network's own privacy policy.

What we do not do

• We do not sell, rent, or trade your email or any personal data.
• We do not track cross-site browsing beyond what standard analytics may log.
• We do not ask for or store passwords, payment details, or identity documents.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
